The project is to address a sustainable model of Gender – Based Violence.
761 individuals ware fully have an awareness and well trained in GBV.
All above targeted peoples have awareness sessions in GBV, 198 women and girls received Dignity Kids, 357 (women and girls) have IGAs (Pastries , perfumes,

Output 1: Women and girls are reached through case management, psychological support services (PSS)referral.
Before starting this project most people in Northern state (NS) – Dongola locality as many people in Sudan are affected by the recent conflict on 15April 2023. However, after the intervention of El Ruhama for Development and Humanitarian Aid Organization (ROHDA) in NS – Dongola – Aldaym Village 357 vulnerable women and girls have been trained in IGAs to face life difficulties ,150 targeted venerable women and girls attend the psychological support services (PSS) . This positively change is intended to help and empower the target women and girls to have income to face difficulties because most of the targeted population are affected by the conflict to different degrees.
RODHA intervention targets Northern state – Dongola locality – Aldaym village where WGSS is established, the starting of implementation for the third quart started on the 1st of July 2025, well trained staff and facilitators as well as volunteers were involved in the implementation, targeting 357 women and girls (240 women and 170 girls)
In Northern state, Dongola HAC has a multimedia page such as Facebook account through which they share most of the organizations activities that works in Northern States. This enables RODHA to share this important activities to be shared with other organizations in the state and hence positively affected them as well as local community .RODHA expected that the above mentioned activities will help organizations, community and other entities to revise their polices to comply this positive changes in the ground .RODHA trained targeted people and has their contacts to follow them as well as advice to train others (ToT) to ensure sustainability.357 (240 women and 117 girls )know how to face psychological stresses and resume seeking for better life and train others in their society. Moreover 357 women and girls are well trained in IGAs (Pastry making, Tahnia sweet making, Perfume making and incense making.
Moreover, more than the targeted peoples {30 (20 women and 10 men) } have taken session in frontline service providers in GBV and PSEA.


Output 2: Community outreach activities to reduce risk of GBV are conducted
2,122 of the targeted people conducted to GBV activities, women and girls are trained and know how to face challenges in Ginder – Based Violence especially sGBV. this awareness is intended to build their capacities as well as to aware them to face unexpected GBV risk. Also conducted campign of 16 days of activism and International Women’s Day 3
In Northern state there are many organizations works and all of them shared their activities through HAC Facebook account, which in turn help to be shared among different organizations and community. GBV is one of the most important terms which needed to be well known among organizations, government, community and entities because people must be a warmed by and other actors have to ply important role in this field, the targeted women and girls well trained and even they have ability to train others (ToT). Before this activities RODHA notice that the society in Aldaym village in Northern state, Dongola before started the GBV sessions they resist the idea, but finally some of them join the sessions. Some community leader support and facilitated our effort.
In addition to that in order to empower women and girls, in this quarts 70 out of 500 women and girls received Dignity kits (DKs), targeting women and girls to mitigate GBV risk.
Beside that RODHA form 5 groups of EA$E (Economic and Social Empowerment) these 5 networks ply major role in supporting women and girls and RODHA to facilitate implementation of many activities and to enhance sustainability.
Outcome statement: Women and girls are reached through case management, Psychosocial Support services (PSS)and referrals.
Internal Displaced women are in a better economic position. Some of them have been well trained in income generating activities (IGAs). before they start, they faced many difficulties and challenges to face their needs. now they are in a better position and they can help and support their families. This effort is intended and planned to empower women and to support their families and host community. (357 out of 750) which equal to 48 percent of the 750 targeted vulnerable women and girls in NS Dongola locality – Al Daym village have been well trained in income generating activities (IGAs), this training is done by highly competent facilitators and still going on, and positively affected and looking forward for better future. 357 women and girls are well trained in IGAs (Pastry making, Tahnia sweet making, Perfume making and incense making. The surrounding Community, although some of them are not involved in the training sessions. However, they get benift by joining in the marketing and also gain direct benifits from their products .Moreover , some organizations , societies and some government entities is highly welcomed these effort and they participate in some ideas to develop this project to be sustainable in future .these changes might changes in the above mentioned entities in a positive way and makes changes in future, thats because many organizations government entities , societies as well as part of the community interested in this activity .
- Moreover 150 women and girls (100 women and 50 girls) well trained and have sessions in MHPSS, the targeted individual were affected by war and the conflict therefor most of them in need for Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) . More than 100 percent of the targeted women and girls for MHPSS were taken very good sessions and empowerment and recover activities, while the target is 150 ( 100 women and 50 girls ) El Ruhama for Development and Humanitarian Aid Organization (ROHDA) done these activities for the targeted peoples before the intervention almost 90 percent of the target people feels frustrated and broken heart due to war and conflict trauma , However, all of them now recovered and integrated in the community, also many organizations and people were positively affected by this support ,hence the community participated in the overall lifestyle.
- RODHA focused on sustainable effect, therefore most the targeted people trained to be supporter for others.
- 100 percent from the targeted frontline service providers (30 individuals 18 women and 12 men) well trained in PSEA and GBV and they became ready to be qualified to serve targeted beneficiaries in safe and in a good way. RODHA believes that training for frontline service providers is very essential, because they are in contact with beneficiaries and targeted people

Furniture is procured and the office is well stablished so that the environment now has become more attractive and supportive. Not only the furniture also IT systems, this involves office rent, utilities, ERP system Odoo, computers and lab tops,

All the above-mentioned changes are planned and intended, fortunately this empowers staff situation and in turn support the groups which related to RODHA such as host entities and other subgroups.
We believe that the above-mentioned groups will be sustainable because, this activity is intended to achieved long durable effect. ROHDA designed asset list and training list to follow management.
Output 3: Knowledge, skills, and abilities of staffs and volunteers Enhanced to continue organization’s mandate in Northern state (Shamalia)
Recruit mental health and psychosocial support consultant to provide mental health and PSS in person and remotely.
Organize workshops in selfcare techniques, stress management strategies, and maintaining emotional well – being for staff.
Payment for salaries for staff, volunteers and board.
RODHA held on job training .to transfer experience through staff.
RODHA organized peer sessions which help on sharing experience and best practices between staff.

RODHA trained the targeted beneficiaries. all women and girls are well trained in many IGAs as follow: –
- Pastry making activities. All women and girls are well trained in how to make pastries (cookies, biscuits and other pastry) the training done by seven competent facilitators run for a month period. targeted 158 individuals (attached the list with sex and age segregation)
- Incense making activity: all women and girls are well trained in making incense this training is done by three facilitators targets 63 individuals. (attached the list with sex and age segregation)
- Perfume making: All women and girls are well trained in making liquid perfume (with different components and odor) the above activity is run by three Facilitator and targets 54 individuals (attached the list with sex and age segregation)
- Sweet making (Tahnia sweet) All women and girls are well trained in how to make sweet (Tahnia sweet) targets 95 individuals (attached the list with sex and age segregation) this training is held by five facilitators.

7. SUCCESS STORY:
